Located nearby is the W. C. Swearingen Recreation Area, operated by the Sabine River Authority, which is 3 miles south of The Lazy Turtle RV Park. The area offers pavilions, tables, picnic areas and a play ground along with 2 fishing piers. This park is designed for nature lovers and provides families, organizations, and community groups with several recreational activities and scenic views.

Links at Lands End Golf Course Recognized as the finest trophy bass fishing lake in the United States, Lake Fork is also the location of one of the finest golf courses in Texas. The Links at Land’s End golf resort is located on a peninsula, rich with wildlife, spectacular views and challenging golf shots. This par 71 golf course is sculpted along the shorelines of the lake, with water in play on 12 of the 18 holes.

The small city of Sulphur Springs is located approximately 20 minutes north via TX-154 E. Here, you will find a variety of restaurants, parks, museums, and recreational opportunities.
